Hello From
Blue Star!
We finally ready to present our
third part of our documentary
Conscious Conversations The
Sacred Four Directions. We have
had tremendous success with the
first two events. Starting off
with the teachings of
Grand Master Aiping Chang,
and geology and local indiginous
culture lectures from Dr. Don
Rankin.
The first event included
interactive yoga demonstrations
from Sue
Rosati and hands on healing
offered by
Annie Watts our most
favorite massage therapist on
the shoreline.
For those of you who attended,
who can forget the invaluable
survival and spirit tracking
techniques and shared wisdom of
Kevin Tincher
and his teachings of
grandfather?
The winter solstice was no less
enlightening. A group of 16
people came here to Blue Star to
gather in what is called the
talking circle. Michael Young a
Princeton Seminary graduate
opened the convening up with a
fresh look at some very old
modalities of worship in his
Universal Worship Ceremony.
This was followed by Elizabeth
Hale-Rose who shared with us her
clinical knowledge on Eastern
philosophy of the "Doing Mind
versus the Being Mind".
This event was concluded with
Sequoyah Trueblood and his
teachings of the Sacred Mystery.
Life is a journey, one not to be
judged but rather to be better
understood.
"We are here to resolve the
unresolved issues of our
ancestors".
These events were a true
blessing. To have such
thinkers gather in one spot and
to share in dialogue and
friendship in a non-judgmental
and presentation of ideas is
truly a gift.
The people who came out, the
day, the food and the presenters
made these gatherings an
invaluable experience. We have
two more gatherings to go to
complete our much-anticipated
documentary. The Sacred Four
Directions.

Historical Fact
A Greek astronomer and
mathematician named
Hipparchus (ca. 190-ca.120
BCE) was known for
discovering the precession
of the equinoxes, the slow
movement among the stars of
the two opposite places
where the sun crosses the
celestial equator.
Hipparchus made observations
of the equinox and solstice.
Astronomers use the spring
equinoctial point to define
their frame of reference,
and the movement of this
point implies that the
measured position of a star
varies with the date of
measurement. Hipparchus also
compiled a star catalogue,
but this has been lost.

What
Happens at the Vernal Equinox?
Far from being an arbitrary
indicator of the changing seasons,
March 20 (March 21 in some years) is
significant for astronomical
reasons. On March 20, 2008, at
precisely 1:48 A.M. EDT (March 20,
05:48 Universal Time), the Sun will
cross directly over the Earth's
equator. This moment is known as the
vernal equinox in the Northern
Hemisphere. For the Southern
Hemisphere, this is the moment of
the autumnal equinox.

What's
Next?
This Sunday May 3rd @
1pm #325 Race Hill Road Madison,
Sequoyah Trueblood and Marlyn Cane
will be here to further the
teachings of the Original laws and
delve into the wisdom of the Sacred
Mystery.
Sequoyah will be speaking of several
different meditations and mantras
used for enhancing deep states of
meditation and higher levels of
consciousness. Leading us in a
group-talking circle where we will
be able to hear and apply advanced
tools to unlock our inner potential.
He will also be talking about
Shape Shifting, a very
interesting topic that I am very
much looking forward to better
understanding!
Many of the subject to be discussed are
structured to tap into the individuals
higher self, a place where healing
occurs.
We are extremely excited to again have
this couple here to share with us the
insights and knowledge that they are
renown for.

Life is a Journey
Thank you all for you continued
interest in our every changing
world, you are all extremely
valuable to the bigger picture even
though some of us may not know this.
Together through asking question,
keeping our minds open and
contributing to the solutions of
today issues we will all help to
usher in a new more sustainable
mental, physical and spiritual
environment.
"We lose friends that don't get it,
we gain ones that do, preaching the
truth does not work rather living
the truth does" anonomous.
